Mangalore, April 26: The name Krishna J Palemar does not just stand for a politician, it is much more than that. Former MLA from Surathkal constituency as everyone knows is a high profile real estate dealer, builder and entrepreneur who has assets worth over Rs 27 crores.

While filing his nomination as BJP candidate from Mangalore North constituency, Mr Palemar declared his assets along with the nomination on Friday and as per the declarations done so far by various candidates, Mr Palemar is the richest.

Mr Palemar has property worth Rs 21.07 crore and has taken loan of Rs 16.13 crore from banks and has deposits of Rs 22.36 lakhs in various banks.

He owns vehicles worth Rs 37.27 lakhs.

He has invested Rs 1.90 crore in shares and debentures and has insurance policies of Rs 48.23 lakh, deposits of Rs 30.33 lakh in various banks, mutual funds of Rs 1.25 lakh and insurance policies of Rs 4.65 lakh are in his wife’s name.

He has non agricultural lands in various parts of the district costing about Rs 93.34 lakh, commercial complexes costing about Rs 64.93 lakhs and apartments of about Rs 44.48 lakh.

Non agricultural land of about Rs 55.31 lakh, commercial complex of Rs 10 lakh and apartments of about Rs 80 lakhs are in the name of his wife.
