Udupi, Dec 27: Kannada Sahitya Sammelana Working Committee members informed that the final version of the audited account will be presented within a span of one month.

Addressing a press meet, General Secretary Chandrasekhar Holla informed that many bills are still pending which are partially paid making an alternative arrangement.

zContributions from Government aided school teachers from this part of area is still pending and couldn’t estimate the balance sheet, he added.

Mr Holla also said that total expenditure at sammelana is estimated to cross more than Rs 2 crore and added that a sum of Rs 80 lakh has been received from the government.

Former medical education minister Dr V S Acharya proposed to construct a welcome memorial of the Sahitya Sammelana at the venue of the meet on the occasion.

Raghupathy Bhat and U P Upadhyaya  and others were present on the occasion.
