Mangalore, Dec 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Mangalore Assembly Constituency unit has organised a constituency-level workers' convention at Mannagudda here on Sunday. M. Satish Prabhu, president of the unit, told presspersons here that the meeting would impart training and guidance to party workers on how to deal with the political situation at the State and national levels.
"The 22 divisions of the unit have been divided into two clusters in order to reach out to the needs and aspirations of people. Plans have been drawn to organise booth-level meeting of workers. Different units of the party will soon be organising their own programmes. This exercise aims at keeping the party cadre ready for any political developments in the State. Senior leaders of the party will participate in the convention," he said. Hindu
